I’ve got roots (rhymes with foots not boots) in Minnesota, lived in East Tennessee where I finished a Master’s Degree and served a wonderful church, and Maryland has been our home for over 25 years.

We are on a mission with God along with some AMAZING Jesus-followers near Baltimore. We gather on weekends on four campuses and throughout the week in hundreds of small groups, and are known for the way we love our community and have an impact around the world. It’s a multi-ethnic, multi-generational, multi-site, multi-blessed community based on the simple teachings of Jesus which call us to love God, love people, and serve the world.

We call this growing family Mountain Christian Church.

It’s probably not what you think.

And whoever you are, and whatever your story, you are welcome at Mountain. Love to have you! You can join us in person Sunday morning at any campus, or Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday nights, or online each week at MountainCC.ChurchOnline.org.

My amazing wife Karla was apparently out of her mind when she married me. That’s also why she’s still with me. She loves Jesus, me, her kids, tennis, and smashing people at any game you challenge her to. Karla serves on our staff team at Mountain and is super gifted at connecting people to places and people where Jesus wants them and they find big joy. She’s the love of my life and holds everything together.

Our son Nathan is married to Abigail and serves as Campus Pastor in East Tennessee where he was born. He plays a bunch of pickleball, soccer, Ultimate Frisbee, and guitar between hikes and coffee runs.  @nathancachiaras

Andrew met his wife Nicole at University of Maryland.  They live in the Bay Area of California writing computer code and skiing, playing Ultimate Frisbee, volleyball, spikeball and surfing.  When he’s not doing that he’s analyzing statistics for the Minnesota Vikings or cracking some lame pun that only he and I think is funny. @ajcachiaras

Ellie graduated from Milligan University in 2021 and currently lives on the Canary Islands teaching English to Spanish speaking kids. She loves soccer and cooking and her sponsored kids in Ecuador.  It seems like Ellie is good at everything, and she has huge heart for kids.  @elliecach

Larry the Wonderdog is really friendly and would like to meet you. He keeps our nest Rambo and Jeanie, have gone to doggie heaven, so we inhabit an empty nest.

I have a fierce, painful but unabated lifelong love for the Minnesota Vikings.

I might be able to kick your butt in pickleball, and play tennis a couple times a week. I’m not giving up rock climbing yet -- I’ve climbed in over 10 states.I love investing in young leaders and pastors and helping churches flourish.

My favorite place in the world is the cabin on the lake in Northern Minnesota, a haven we call Revive Us Again because we can still hear the echoing refrain of my Grandpa, G.H. Cachiaras, singing it – and because when we go there, that is what happens to us.

My parents live in Minnesota, and are awesome. I’m the youngest of four, so on car rides I was always in the middle with my feet on the hump.

I do not like cats.

I am trying to be like Jesus and be on mission with Jesus.

I am somewhat out of my mind.
